Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonas de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir de Castro in the 3rd minute of play. When Juninho Teles came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Passo Fundo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Teles couldn't finish the play. Pedrinho Barreto came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas de Toledo could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Juninho Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passo Fundo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir de Castro in the 13th minute. A collision led to Relvado SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Amadeu de Medeiros hit a great ball. Juninho Teles scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Juninho Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas de Toledo. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Walmir de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adalberto Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Fonseca having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas de Toledo. Passo Fundo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonas de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pedrinho Barreto sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Passo Fundo SC's Renan Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Machado in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Passo Fundo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Emanuel Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relvado SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Passo Fundo SC's Jonas de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Machado in the 52nd minute of play. When Relvado SC's Pedrinho Barreto in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Passo Fundo SC's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Renan Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Fonseca. Relvado SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renan Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Renan Soares did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-4 to the left of a surprised David Fonseca 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Juninho Teles notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Relvado SC's David Fonseca. David Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juninho Teles scored 3-6 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Relvado SC's David Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Relvado SC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Passo Fundo SC's Renan Soares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Fonseca. David Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-7. 84 minutes into the match, Passo Fundo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Figueiredo came free, but Jonas de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 85 in the game by Juninho Teles from a close distance when the talented David Fonseca managed to make a qualified save. Relvado SC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Relvado SC's Walmir de Castro got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Adalberto Motta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Fonseca. Adalberto Motta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Passo Fundo SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
