The supporters of Valley Stream booed when Japyra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorginho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamal Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Djamal Akrour notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado. Jorginho Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the match, Valley Stream's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Coutinho came free, but Amar Maillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djamal Akrour in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Karim Diafat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Japyra EC's Raimundo Pontes got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jorginho Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Diafat in the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Japyra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamal Akrour came free, but Jorginho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Akrour in the 25th minute of play. Abd al-Asis Belkhadem hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sid Ahmed Belkheir charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sid Ahmed Belkheir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valley Stream! 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valley Stream's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustão Bittencourt was slow to take the kick. During this time Japyra EC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Cícero Novaes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Raimundo Pontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amar Maillot firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Djamal Akrour put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jorginho Rosado. After 46 played minutes Valley Stream got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Boudiaf. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cícero Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Serginho Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Akrour in the 57th minute of play. Amar Maillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Pontes in the 58th minute of play. Kauan Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Yacine Kouri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valley Stream and the Japyra EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Valley Stream got a freekick which was hit by Yacine Kouri. Jorginho Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frantz Daham in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Japyra EC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kauan Arósio hit a great ball. If Djamal Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Djamal Akrour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valley Stream and the Japyra EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valley Stream getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Djamal Akrour hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Japyra EC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Arósio. When Valley Stream's Djamal Akrour in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Japyra EC's goalie prevented a goal. Jorginho Rosado was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Djamal Akrour capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Djamal Akrour really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, Japyra EC's Raimundo Pontes got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jorginho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Diafat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djamal Akrour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jorginho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karim Diafat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Rosado having to interfere. When Djamal Akrour came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Valley Stream fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamal Akrour couldn't finish the play. Valley Stream played a much better game than Japyra EC and deserved their victory. The Japyra EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
