The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodoljub Milosavac kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Japyra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mladen Čonkić came free, but Jorginho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Mladen Čonkić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KIFC's Božo Dragišić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KIFC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Japyra EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Raimundo Pontes hit a great ball. Jorginho Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mladen Čonkić in the 30th minute of play. Jorginho Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodoljub Milosavac, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Japyra EC's Kauan Arósio got a free kick in the 36th minute. Đorđe Šaranov hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in KIFC's zone, Marcelo Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Božo Dragišić came out of the goal and Marcelo Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radojica Vesić lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KIFC! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mladen Čonkić to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mladen Čonkić lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Jorginho Rosado. If Mladen Čonkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIFC's goalkeeper Božo Dragišić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mladen Čonkić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorginho Rosado came out and tried to block the shot, but Mladen Čonkić slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 58th minute. Janko Todić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Rosado having to interfere. Božo Dragišić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Mello in the 64th minute of play. Mirsad Raković was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vasilj Nikčević's late challenge caught a Japyra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasilj Nikčević helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KIFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vasilj Nikčević hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Marcelo Mello made a precise shot to the right of Božo Dragišić. KIFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 72 minutes into the match, Japyra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasilj Nikčević came free, but Jorginho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Raimundo Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japyra EC and the KIFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KIFC booed when Japyra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mirsad Raković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the game, Japyra EC's Kauan Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Božo Dragišić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ljuba Dragović managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ljuba Dragović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorginho Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Marcelo Mello put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Božo Dragišić. KIFC's Božo Dragišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Mello in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, KIFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Mello came free, but Božo Dragišić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mladen Čonkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
