Rodriguinho da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 谢冰康's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jonas de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 魏强德 in the 24th minute of the match. Adalberto Motta scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 巩昂迪, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 巩昂迪 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Soares in the 29th minute of the match. Jonas de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 46th minute 魏强德 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Passo Fundo SC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 魏强德 was the one to do the kick off. With 66 minutes on the clock, Luizão Zonta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Passo Fundo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juninho Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 巩昂迪 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 南京城市足球俱乐部. Jonas de Toledo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 南京城市足球俱乐部's 陶旭延. But to his dismay, 陶旭延 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. 92 minutes into the match, 谢冰康 notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Passo Fundo SC's Jonas de Toledo. Jonas de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 99th minute, 尹鹰西 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-4. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 南京城市足球俱乐部 had won after a very even match.
