The supporters of Passo Fundo SC booed when Oratorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Oratorio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Astigar to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Passo Fundo SC defense, Timoteo Gartzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas de Toledo. The Passo Fundo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Gartzi scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Rodriguinho da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Passo Fundo SC's Jonas de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Gartzi in the 41st minute of play. Timoteo Gartzi took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas de Toledo. Jonas de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When German Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oratorio's protests and gave German Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. German Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Timoteo Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Benvido was the one to do the kick off. Rodriguinho da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Enekoitz having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Timoteo Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Jonas de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Passo Fundo SC's goalkeeper Jonas de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Gartzi. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Dominix couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Soares in the 74th minute of play forced Oratorio's goalkeeper Ermegildo Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Gartzi in the 75th minute. Jonas de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Benvido in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Passo Fundo SC's Juninho Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Enekoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Ermegildo Enekoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Vargas went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. Renan Soares struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ermegildo Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passo Fundo SC. A collision led to Oratorio getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. German Sabino hit a great ball. Passo Fundo SC's Adalberto Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Motta in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Passo Fundo SC's Juninho Teles made it 5-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Enekoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Passo Fundo SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Oratorio to leave the ground with a draw.
