After 9 minutes of play, Japyra EC's Marcelo Mello made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 巩昂迪 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 巩昂迪 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 魏强德 took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorginho Rosado. Jorginho Rosado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 谢冰康 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jorginho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 尹鹰西 hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, 尹鹰西 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 南京城市足球俱乐部 and the Japyra EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, 南京城市足球俱乐部 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 尹鹰西 to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Raimundo Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but 巩昂迪 made a huge save. Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 谢冰康 in the 35th minute of play. 谢冰康 took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorginho Rosado. Jorginho Rosado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 46th minute of the match Serafim Brasil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 巩昂迪 skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Mello was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, 谢冰康 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 南京城市足球俱乐部 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Marcelo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 陶旭延 kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏强德 in the 68th minute of play. When 谢冰康 came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the 南京城市足球俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 谢冰康 couldn't finish the play. 尹鹰西 got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 82 played minutes 南京城市足球俱乐部 got a freekick which was hit by 尹鹰西. When 魏强德 fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 南京城市足球俱乐部's protests and gave 魏强德 a yellow card for diving instead. 巩昂迪 came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Japyra EC's Marcelo Mello. But to his dismay, Marcelo Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. With his leg Jorginho Rosado managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when 南京城市足球俱乐部's 谢冰康 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute, Kauan Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 冯岩勇's shot from long distance in the 96th minute was not bad at all, but Japyra EC's Jorginho Rosado knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post.
