A collision led to Relvado SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kléber Amaral hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Relvado SC's Pedrinho Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wirak Boonchoo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Machado in the 16th minute of play forced Fairfax United's goalkeeper Wirak Boonchoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Prachuab Maneewat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 minutes, Sompol Intamas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairfax United and the Relvado SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Relvado SC booed when Fairfax United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sompol Intamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Emanuel Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wirak Boonchoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Emanuel Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wirak Boonchoo. Fairfax United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Wirak Boonchoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Barreto in the 35th minute of play. Wirak Boonchoo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Machado in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Relvado SC's zone, Chanyut Kantongdee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Fonseca came out of the goal and Chanyut Kantongdee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Chanyut Kantongdee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Relvado SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

David Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prachuab Maneewat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Relvado SC's David Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prachuab Maneewat in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Relvado SC's Diego Pereira got a free kick in the 61st minute. David Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chanyut Kantongdee went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Emanuel Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Relvado SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Martins to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Relvado SC's Wirak Boonchoo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Machado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Fairfax United's Wisan Thavornsukhavadee got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ismael Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wirak Boonchoo. Fairfax United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yongyuth Namwang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. David Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Martins during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luizão Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Fairfax United's goalkeeper Wirak Boonchoo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Barreto. Wirak Boonchoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of play forced Fairfax United's goalkeeper Wirak Boonchoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Relvado SC's Luizão Martins shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wirak Boonchoo but with some difficulty. In the 94th minute, Kléber Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Relvado SC played a much better game than Fairfax United and deserved their victory. The Fairfax United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
