Álvaro Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Verastegui having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Laffitte Rioz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murillo Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Rodolfo Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Verastegui. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Verastegui should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Rodolfo Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Gaspar Verastegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rodolfo Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute Rodolfo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Verastegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Laffitte Rioz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laffitte Rioz couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laffitte Rioz to make the kick off. Laffitte Rioz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Laffitte Rioz made a precise shot to the right of Murillo Valladares. MUSHIBA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Bartuelo Masferrer charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gaspar Verastegui came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernandão Schmidt slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Felipe Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Verastegui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. 90 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandão Schmidt came free, but Gaspar Verastegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Felipe Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
