The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nahuel Losada kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Internet XAire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Mar in the 22nd minute of play forced Internet XAire's goalkeeper Luisito Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Eneko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Internet XAire:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marzagão:s goal. After 28 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by César Rosa. 29 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Oskarbi came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Vides during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Fabiano de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Vides to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano de Queiroz. 41 minutes into the match, Saul Oskarbi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Saul Oskarbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Oskarbi in the 48th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 63 minutes of play, Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 67 minutes, Saul Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internet XAire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Oskarbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Saul Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 79 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Gonsalve. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Gilberto Saraiva got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Ermegildo Inocente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
