Timoteo Enaut started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Claus. After 4 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Tepedino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Lleir in the 10th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Wilfredo Gil made a precise shot to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's Timoteo Enaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willian Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta got a free kick in the 31st minute. Edgardo Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Loyola having to interfere. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Lleir in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Edgardo Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Lleir during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Morro Grande E.C's Erik Pontes was substituted for Diogo Pinho. Edgardo Lleir hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luisinho Silva hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Deivid Trevisan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Ernani Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Loyola was a little too slow when Edgardo Lleir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 78th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Cristian Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Emesto charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Emesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dionisio Emesto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Falckner FC defense, Cristian Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Paez. The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Paez should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Cristian Duarte notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Falckner FC's Amancio Paez. Amancio Paez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Falckner FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
