A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wilfredo Gaxan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Queirós in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Justin saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Bernardo Ranolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Viriato Peixoto made a huge save. Roberto Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Viriato Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Felipo in the 11th minute of the match. Dionisio Monico struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Viriato Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Viriato Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jonatan Felipo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Dezassete booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Peixoto having to interfere. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Queirós in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Salazar. Viriato Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jonatan Felipo sent off a good shot on target. Jonatan Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viriato Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Gaston Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Viriato Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Viriato Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Felipo. After 46 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonatan Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Dezassete's Viriato Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Felipo in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Jonatan Felipo made a precise shot to the right of Viriato Peixoto. FC Dezassete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 62nd minute, Wilfredo Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, FC Dezassete's Gaspar Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Viriato Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joaquin Fonso took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Peixoto. Viriato Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Club Atlético Atlanta's Leonardo Paulin was substituted for Joaquin Fonso. If Leonardo Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Gaspar Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dezassete and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Gaspar Queirós got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Gaston Joanes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Peixoto skillfully saved the ball. After 93 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Queirós. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Paulin in the 95th minute of play forced FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Viriato Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
