In the 12th minute, Neil Mar made a precise shot to the right of Amancio Paez. Falckner FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Edgardo Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Edgardo Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Lleir scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Enaut in the 22nd minute of play. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Enaut in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Marzagão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgardo Lleir who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Claus to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. César Rosa hit a great ball. Timoteo Enaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Luís Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Enaut ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Victorio Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Edgardo Lleir notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Falckner FC's Amancio Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Enaut to strike the kick off in the second half. Godofredo Fix's late challenge caught a Marzagão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Fix helped the player get up and apologised. Godofredo Fix hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Neil Mar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amancio Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Godofredo Fix was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. When Fabiano de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Falckner FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
