Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falckner FC:s goal. Amancio Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Felipo in the 18th minute of play. If Joaquin Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Basilio Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Enaut in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Godofredo Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Fonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Paez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Fonso ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edgardo Lleir made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Claus during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Victorio Claus hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Felipo got free with Amancio Paez in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 52 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Paulin. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Genaro Frechoso hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Enaut in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Justin saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gil in the 62nd minute of the match. Amancio Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Paez made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Bernardo Ranolfo sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Fonso struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Amancio Paez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Genaro Frechoso hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Dionisio Monico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Paez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dionisio Emesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Basilio Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Claus.
