The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urtungo Ramin during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Urtungo Ramin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Paez came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Bartuelo Masferrer. But to his dismay, Bartuelo Masferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Gil in the 56th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Gaspar Verastegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amancio Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartuelo Masferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtungo Ramin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Azpilcueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lobo Feliu to maneuver through the defense. Falckner FC's Dionisio Emesto was substituted for Edgardo Lleir. Bartuelo Masferrer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Sporting Buceo played a much better game than Falckner FC and deserved their victory. The Falckner FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
