The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Donato got free with Basilio Justin in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well placed Rodolfo Donato short distance shot in the 14th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Rodolfo Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 24th minute Rodolfo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulino Frechoso fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Paulino Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Rony da Cunha got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Felipo came free, but Murillo Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Donato came free, but Basilio Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonatan Felipo made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Rodolfo Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MUSHIBA FC's Edgard Lopez was substituted for Rony da Cunha. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. MUSHIBA FC's Rubinho Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Gaston Joanes got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Rodolfo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
