In the 5th minute of the match Wit Jaszyna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krzysztof Cielencki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Hahay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Siembab should have stopped the shot. Gustaw Kaczynski's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Mondrowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Wit Jaszyna put in a rough tackle. Kelaino Mbappè in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucjan Siembab, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute, Kelaino Mbappè ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Siembab was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lucjan Siembab was a little too slow when Tolek Pryla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Ryszard Ludzia fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Ryszard Ludzia a yellow card for diving instead. Ryszard Ludzia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomir Dzerwucki to strike the kick off in the second half. Hahay's Korneliusz Szkarpiak was substituted for Ryszard Ludzia. Lucjan Siembab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Dembkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Siembab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Biraga in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Stasio Parzysz hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Przemyslaw Biraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modlau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Biraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Huk in the 94th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Lucjan Siembab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Siembab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Biraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Wit Mondrowski. Tolek Pryla shot a long shot in the 97th minute and a light blocked Lucjan Siembab hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-1. Modlau's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
