Torcato Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Queirós in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Dezassete's Gregório Antas was substituted for Angélico Malheiro. The supporters of FC Dezassete booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Gaspar Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dezassete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fabiano de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Peixoto having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mar came free, but Viriato Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Torcato Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dezassete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torcato Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Neil Mar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleiton Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Viriato Peixoto made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Cleiton Paulista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Viriato Peixoto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Alberto Prado sped through FC Dezassete's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viriato Peixoto. After 77 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Luís Ekaterinoslavskiy. In the 88th minute, Neil Mar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viriato Peixoto. The goal made the score 1-3. A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hildeberto Peixoto hit a great ball. The FC Dezassete supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marzagão's performance. The match ended with a win for Marzagão.
