In the 12th minute, Sergio Amato sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Söderhall's Svante Stenqvist didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute Domingos Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svante Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Cordareo in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Culampajao Quilmeño getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Raul Otsando hit a great ball. Sidney Capixaba shot from long distance in the 19th minute, but Joel Che was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Zygmunt Wrzosek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Joel Che made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Culampajao Quilmeño's Paolo Bembe got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Clas Nørstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svante Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match, Zygmunt Wrzosek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joel Che was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Söderhall's Clas Nørstrup in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clas Nørstrup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clas Nørstrup in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Clas Nørstrup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Che was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Culampajao Quilmeño's goal looked a bit too open when Clas Nørstrup came free, but Joel Che reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 66th minute of play forced Culampajao Quilmeño's goalkeeper Joel Che to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Che showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 67th minute of the match. Culampajao Quilmeño's Joel Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 85th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Raul Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Horacio Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Culampajao Quilmeño's protests and gave Horacio Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Söderhall had played much better football throughout.
