Apostol Sokolov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet De Paula in the 24th minute of play. Gilbert Cieliczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov got control of the ball when Guaberto Bras tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Sultan-Mehmet De Paula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostol Sokolov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostol Sokolov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fan Qi Bin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Quiroga in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Cieliczka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Claudio Quiroga took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gilbert Cieliczka to make any attempt to save it. Apostol Sokolov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sultan-Mehmet De Paula in the 61st minute of the match. Claudio Quiroga might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Cieliczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Quiroga ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardinho Bala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gilbert Cieliczka made a huge save. After 65 minutes Pancha Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modestio Cañucal who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Monitor Huáscar's corner Modestio Cañucal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilbert Cieliczka quite easily take care of the ball. Claudio Quiroga took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Cieliczka. Gilbert Cieliczka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Gilbert Cieliczka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
