In the 21st match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Eger to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Raimundo Guimarães rounded E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. With an all-out effort, Dromes FC's Telmo Madureira threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack Grealish, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Franco Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dromes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franco Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Raimundo Guimarães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Madureira, 4-1. Dromes FC's Jack Grealish quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tostão Nunes, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Geraldo Eger fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C 2 Janeiro RS's protests and gave Geraldo Eger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Geraldo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Raimundo Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Dromes FC's attentive Aldo Arellano managed to snatch the ball when Albertinho Guedes made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Dromes FC's Humberto Lleir was substituted for Raimundo Guimarães. The throw-in from Tostão Nunes in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dromes FC's Jack Grealish. Humberto Lleir scored 9-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dromes FC made a substitution. Basilio Virila replaced Aldo Arellano. Dromes FC's attentive Jack Grealish managed to snatch the ball when Tostão Nunes made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Jack Grealish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Lleir in the 96th minute of play.
