The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cüneyt Berksoy scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Kurdistan fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Sundström in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 14th minute of play forced UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Mateus Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fredric Hybbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Cüneyt Berksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alaaddin Solskjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Västberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for UPTEXTIL.COM. Cüneyt Berksoy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alaaddin Solskjær. 2-2. Mateus Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Alberto Bayona didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyt Berksoy in the 44th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Mamatov in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Ruisko to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, UPTEXTIL.COM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Ruisko to maneuver through the defense. Doğuhan Yasun's late challenge caught a FC Kurdistan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doğuhan Yasun helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes UPTEXTIL.COM got a freekick which was hit by Doğuhan Yasun. 62 minutes into the game, Lars Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mateus Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Jörgen Levander replaced Lars Sundström. UPTEXTIL.COM's Mário Maldini was substituted for Zé Paulo Queirós. FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Ubaldo Ritchie. After 68 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Alberto Bayona. In the 72nd minute Paolo Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belchior Mamatov. Alaaddin Solskjær made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cüneyt Berksoy in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Maldini came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Bammerman in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Iwan Kasiewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UPTEXTIL.COM made a substitution. Nestor Hoffmann replaced Hugo do Valle. UPTEXTIL.COM's Martin Ødegaard was substituted for Paolo Ruisko. After 85 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Kasiewski. After taking down the ball on UPTEXTIL.COM's corner Pontus Hjortberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alaaddin Solskjær quite easily take care of the ball. After 94 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Lars Bammerman made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the FC Kurdistan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
