In the 4th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Salgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Confesor to maneuver through the defense. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Rozarius in the 7th minute of play. Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Serafo to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Eguen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Prospero Perico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celedonio Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Prospero Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minas Makris kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Eguen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Rios went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Matheu City FC defense, Cristobal Lia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Eguen. The Matheu City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Eguen should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez got control of the ball when Blas Rozarius tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Perico came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Xu Ran Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Oliverios in the 42nd minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Salgado in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Rozarius to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Makris to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Tomás Laurendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobos de Carelia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matheu City FC the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Eusebio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Celedonio Eguen managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Matheu City FC's attentive Ruperto Serafo managed to snatch the ball when Saul Montrel made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. With his leg Celedonio Eguen managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavao Zadro in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Cleto Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Confesor. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Rozarius in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lobos de Carelia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
