With 89 minutes on the clock, Ramiro Rey commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ramiro Rey hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abuba Akotonon FC's zone, Ruperto Serafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Ruperto Serafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Santio to maneuver through the defense. The Matheu City FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
