In the 8th minute Genaro Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Venceslas came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Orlando Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Martin Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ángel Torres came out of the goal and Martin Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Danilo Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dawid Rojek scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the LA LUZ F.C. defense, Martin Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Torres. The LA LUZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Ángel Torres should have stopped the shot. Arnout Van den Wyngaert struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Miguel Ángel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GERLIROJO Ψ. GERLIROJO Ψ's Genaro Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Atilla Açıkalın was substituted for Marcial Chayo. The wind increased when Martin Jax made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Dawid Rojek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jailson Britto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA LUZ F.C.'s protests and gave Jailson Britto a yellow card for diving instead. Adriano Vilanova kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Jailson Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Martin Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 67th minute of play. Jailson Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Andres Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Arnout Van den Wyngaert. GERLIROJO Ψ's Aquilino Ihintza was substituted for Genaro Tauro. Jailson Britto took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Lastur. Andres Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Epifanio Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. LA LUZ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GERLIROJO Ψ the free kick. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
