Juan Huerta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Ziomkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 38th minute of play. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fulvio Vittorio sent off a good shot on target. La France FC's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 41st minute of play. Xande Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein got free with Geronimo Argi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Geronimo Argi made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Afonso da Cunha made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Frasco in the 85th minute of the match. Ryszard Percha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein got free with Geronimo Argi in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La France FC.
