Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorrin Briones in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, one of Batalhão do Peçanha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rapsodas Red Devils FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorrin Briones, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech. 0-1. A nice corner shot did that Špiro Srdić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petr Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute Jorrin Briones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorrin Briones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pranas Užkuraitis came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorrin Briones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Alexander Callens in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Batalhão do Peçanha's Barr Eira. In the 39th match minute, Batalhão do Peçanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pranas Užkuraitis in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Tököli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. Vânderson Vasconcelos made a great header on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner, it was just that Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorrin Briones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Damián Alcazar was substituted for Špiro Srdić. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Salah got free with Petr Čech in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Salah in the 73rd minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Pranas Užkuraitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Tököli was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
