In the 10th minute Emil Turek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 白延珂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto James struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. 林桦耀 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracias a la Pelota - DAM. 16 minutes into the match, Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goal looked a bit too open when 卓海桑 came free, but 白延珂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 白延珂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 卓海桑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But to his dismay, Caio Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 柯洋鹰's late challenge caught a Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 柯洋鹰 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gracias a la Pelota - DAM booed when 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柯洋鹰 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Kendrick Zeigler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 『挑战者』青岛海牛FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
