Cristo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Toxeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Celta de Vigo from getting a goal against them. Pepe Toxeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Rey in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's corner Wincent Poling fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pepe Toxeiro quite easily take care of the ball. Tony Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Lopez in the 16th minute of the match. When Wincent Poling fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's protests and gave Wincent Poling a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wincent Poling hit a great ball. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Celta de Vigo from getting a goal against them. Pepe Toxeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfonso Ponce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tony Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Lopez in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Rey came free, but Pepe Toxeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Uchiha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Guillermo Marin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony Uchiha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Club Celta de Vigo reached it. After having played for 47 minutes, Everardo Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Club Celta de Vigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Mateo Lopez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha. Tony Uchiha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Chabier made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wincent Poling however managed to control. In the 62nd minute, Cristo Rey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Toxeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's zone, Mateo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Uchiha came out of the goal and Mateo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calisto Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barni Irigoyen in the 72nd minute of the match. Cristo Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Toxeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Barni Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Rey in the 83rd minute of play. Oscar Österlund hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Cristo Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Toxeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Tony Uchiha was a little too slow when Mateo Lopez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-2. After 96 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Araujo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Quintan in the 96th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey started the play with the initial kick off. In the 103rd minute Mateo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 104 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Lopez came free, but Tony Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 111th minute, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И had won after a very even match.
