Thanks to some nice moves Mario Jakobe could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Zé Gato however easily saved by the left post. Stanislaw Marchewka got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gavril Anghelescu. Stig-Åke Gabrielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Zé Gato made a huge save. Carlos Garcia scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Doloman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Gato made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson sent off a good shot on target. Dumitru Doloman came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia. But to his dismay, Carlos Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of SITIO CITY booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's Mario Jakobe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Gato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viola Invest were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after SITIO CITY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Emander took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Emander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Gato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Garcia to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Carlos Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITIO CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Jazowski in the 58th minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Viola Invest fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Viola Invest's Kuuno Tälli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Dumitru Doloman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jakobe came free, but Zé Gato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuuno Tälli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Luís Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dumitru Doloman. Luís Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Fabian Dalman replaced Kajetan Paulista. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson sped through SITIO CITY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Gato. Zé Gato came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Viola Invest's Stig-Åke Gabrielsson. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 3-3. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Viola Invest's Kuuno Tälli that got to make the kick off. In the 100th minute, Luís Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Doloman. Viola Invest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The SITIO CITY players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
