Spectators: 524 (Terracing: 394, Seating: 120, VIP seats: 10) Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Betzanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Jian Chen in the 5th minute of play. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Rooney in the 10th minute of the match. Dario Betzanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şenol Güneş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Betzanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Víctor Hernandez in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Dragón F.C's Fernandez Vizcarreto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Betzanos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şenol Güneş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Selim Mićić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Betzanos in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şenol Güneş saved La Mora CAT from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Vizcarreto. Hilario Pesquera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boruc Petka. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Wayne Rooney made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Dario Betzanos took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Şenol Güneş to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Coutinho came free, but Hilario Pesquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Alarico Trinidad got a free kick in the 69th minute. La Mora CAT's Frank Alvarenga was substituted for Etor Benito. La Mora CAT's Seve Grau was substituted for Du Jian Chen. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Loreto Candamil replaced Boruc Petka. The crowd rose to their feet as Dario Betzanos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Şenol Güneş. That made the score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Tadeo Olmedilla replaced Dario Betzanos. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernandez Vizcarreto in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Fernandez Vizcarreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş did a great save. Şenol Güneş was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Tadeo Olmedilla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Olmedilla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Alarico Trinidad made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Dragón F.C's Domingos Iliana. A sloppy throw-in by Alarico Trinidad in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Golden Dragón F.C's Alan Petersen. After some careless play in the La Mora CAT defense, Tadeo Olmedilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şenol Güneş. The La Mora CAT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şenol Güneş should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş got control of the ball when Tadeo Olmedilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Tadeo Olmedilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Suy made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frank Alvarenga immediately put the ball in play.

The Golden Dragón F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Golden Dragón F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
