The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Erramun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lei Lang Rong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Tadeo Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonsas Jakniūnas in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind CamaLeones's goalkeeper Lei Lang Rong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonsas Jakniūnas came free, but Tadeo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonsas Jakniūnas in the 17th minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonsas Jakniūnas in the 19th minute. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Correa in the 27th minute of play. Lei Lang Rong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Erramun in the 30th minute of play. If Jailson Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Erramun scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lei Lang Rong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lei Lang Rong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Erramun went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Prado in the 52nd minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Téo Puch. In the 56th minute Angel Correa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Erramun. Machine Gun Kelly's Aristides Boniel was substituted for Conrado Erramun. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alberto Lizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lei Lang Rong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Lizer ran back to his position shaking his head. CamaLeones made a substitution. Santos Feliz replaced Diego Armando Ebert. Lei Lang Rong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Boniel went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, CamaLeones's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Boniel came free, but Lei Lang Rong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Primo in the 85th minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CamaLeones's Lei Lang Rong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Boniel in the 86th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Sá got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lei Lang Rong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CamaLeones's Lei Lang Rong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save CamaLeones from getting a goal against them. Francisco Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Topolski in the 96th minute of play.

The Machine Gun Kelly supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Machine Gun Kelly would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
