After 12 minutes of play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Salvidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Firmo in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Juan-Ramón Verón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan-Ramón Verón's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriele Batistuta got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Campelo in the 31st minute of play. 史宽军 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Firmo in the 33rd minute of play. Menchu FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Berserkers FC Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frédéric Chopin took the corner. Arturo Roderigo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédéric Chopin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merih Güdeş in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Campelo in the 40th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Ramón Verón to make the kick off. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Roderigo in the 55th minute of play. Juan-Ramón Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Elvio Ted replaced 史宽军. After having played for 59 minutes, Elvio Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Bottone took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Menchu FC's Peter Söderqwist was substituted for Gaston Firmo. 68 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 71 minutes into the match, Caetano Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Gabrio. Berserkers FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Menchu FC's Tomas Cordaryal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elvio Ted, made in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 81st minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Bottone came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Bottone took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alexander Bottone sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Bottone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bottone, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Berserkers FC Ψ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
