The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of James Novak. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 12th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Jorge Montt shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse to catch but Jorge Montt was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 22 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Ivănescu came free, but James Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ignacio Hanssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinu Ivănescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Novak. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. When SiTomanBoy´s's Toninho Guerreiro in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Despidida AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute Pastor Tino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SiTomanBoy´s's zone, Emiliano Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Novak came out of the goal and Emiliano Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper James Novak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Tino. In the 38th minute of the match, Emiliano Velasco got a very nice opportunity to score, but James Novak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 43 minutes of play, SiTomanBoy´s's Toninho Guerreiro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Selatse was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 47 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Tino. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Velasco to make the kick off. If Francisco Ignacio Hanssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Ignacio Hanssen. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when SiTomanBoy´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Luis Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but James Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Hernán Torrejón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. SiTomanBoy´s's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Hernán Torrejón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Torrejón in the 86th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Torrejón in the 91st minute of play.
