Gabriel Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Oinaz. The corner led Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor to fire away a dangerous shot which Oliverio Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Gabino came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Donatello's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Donatello helped the player get up and apologised. Dedê Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Timoteo Procopio hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Gabino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 54th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Procopio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Liljeström got free with Gabriel Porfiro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
