After having played for 11 minutes, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lino Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliverio Kahn was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Wojciech Fiszer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliverio Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 29th minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Saturnino Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Romo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Eztebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saturnino Romo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Joel Carli hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Rios was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Marciano Lope was substituted for Luis Frisco. In the 70thth minute of the game Jerzy Marchefka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dedê Donatello made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jerzy Marchefka. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Mario Sesuldo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Mario Sesuldo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 92nd minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
