The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Havier got free with Roman Vachon in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronald Ferenc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leszek Wielopolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Chelsea Football Club getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ruy Toledo hit a great ball. Leszek Wielopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Lin Yi in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Qiu Lin Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsea Football Club's Uriel Gorri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Cocca, made in the 92nd minute of the game.
