Robert Haegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Haimar made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Wiktor Bielatowicz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koča Kafarov in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xie Bang Ang saved ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting behind. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koča Kafarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 19th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match DREAM TEAM WORLD got a corner. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fabiano Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xie Bang Ang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Koča Kafarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koča Kafarov in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xie Bang Ang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Koča Kafarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Rolando Haimar got a free kick in the 37th minute. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koča Kafarov in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xie Bang Ang was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Koča Kafarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Bang Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Wiktor Bielatowicz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dalmacio Etxatxu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Emilio Gonzales replaced Jonas Paz. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Emilio Polo replaced Guaberto Matro. The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when ARedonditos de Ricota CFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ARedonditos de Ricota CFK from getting a goal against them. Emilio Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lu Zhen Sheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Osvaldo Koldo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Gonzales in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Benjy Muller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjy Muller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
