The corner went over the outstretched arms of Playa Malvín's goalie and right to Cavad Lider. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Playa Malvín's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gong Qi Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kang Ying Hai having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Aldo Zumiel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Stelian Murgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kang Ying Hai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kang Ying Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 19th minute of the match. Jakob Källberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nils Elmhuus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kang Ying Hai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 25th minute of play. Mikolaj Giertych blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Elmhuus having to make a save. In the 46th minute Mikolaj Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikolaj Giertych to strike the kick off in the second half. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Giertych in the 57th minute of play. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Aldo Zumiel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gamus Rocha in the 59 minute of the game. ..Villa Rugby Club.. made a substitution. Flavio Perez replaced Cavad Lider. Playa Malvín's Chris Tian was substituted for Jabier Igual. ..Villa Rugby Club.. made a substitution. Olaf Cebula replaced Mikolaj Giertych. In the 64th minute of the match Playa Malvín got a corner. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stelian Murgu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Playa Malvín's Michael Guisla to fire away a dangerous shot which Kang Ying Hai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Perez came free, but Nils Elmhuus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Flavio Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Elmhuus was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Gong Qi Fan scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kang Ying Hai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Kang Ying Hai managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Playa Malvín eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
