Enzo Peruxu took the corner. The corner ended in Enzo Peruxu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dinamo St. Petersburg's Aleksandr Arnautov did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lordi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksandr Arnautov saved Dinamo St. Petersburg from getting behind. Aleksandr Arnautov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinamo St. Petersburg's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksandr Arnautov was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21stth minute of the game Gerardo Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo St. Petersburg's Aleksandr Arnautov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witomir Pisarczyk struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Aleksandr Arnautov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. Gerardo Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniil Malysh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pontus Nordström made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lordi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksandr Arnautov saved Dinamo St. Petersburg from getting behind. Aleksandr Arnautov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 32nd minute of the match. Igor Dukalskiy hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Petr Shishkarev hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Gerardo Lordi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aleksandr Arnautov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. 58 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksandr Arnautov. Dinamo St. Petersburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Icardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aleksandr Arnautov was a little too slow when Mauro Icardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, Dinamo St. Petersburg's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Aleksandr Arnautov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Icardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Arnautov having to interfere. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Wendell Davids replaced Enzo Peruxu. Dinamo St. Petersburg's Aleksandr Arnautov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo St. Petersburg from getting a goal against them. Dinamo St. Petersburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Mauro Icardi scored to the left of an out of position Aleksandr Arnautov, making the score, 0-5. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Santa Margarita's David Celio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aleksandr Arnautov. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Mauro Icardi took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Aleksandr Arnautov to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksandr Arnautov, 0-8. A sloppy throw-in by Zinoviy Mamentev in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Santa Margarita's Nicklas Matsson. Mauro Icardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dinamo St. Petersburg's Aleksandr Arnautov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Icardi in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Santa Margarita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dinamo St. Petersburg.
