After 40 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Tim Nordlund. In the 45th minute, Hjálmar Jónsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Örtlund to make the kick off. Gigio Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NILS. 94 minutes into the match, Florencio Gaueko notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Polly Magoo Juniors's Gigio Buffon. Gigio Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg started the play with his kick off.
