When Fernando Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ICEWIND DALE's protests and gave Fernando Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Airborne FC booed when FC ICEWIND DALE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fernando Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Barreto was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The FC ICEWIND DALE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kuno Lüdimõis made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Casimiro Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Paulo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Patryk Ranowiecki made the kick off and play began. If Boguslaw Zdeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 104th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
