After 2 played minutes FC Szombry got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Gabis. In the 3rdth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 played minutes FC Szombry got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Gabis. If Thomas Vollmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Adam Pacholewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janusz Tomaka. FC Szombry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Pacholewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 11th play minutes Thomas Vollmar shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Janusz Tomaka and just under the crossbar into goal. After 14 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Vollmar. If Adam Pacholewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pankracy Malicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pankracy Malicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Tomaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janusz Tomaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Adam Pacholewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Janusz Tomaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29th play minutes Thomas Vollmar shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Janusz Tomaka and just under the crossbar into goal. 32 minutes into the match, Pankracy Malicki notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka. Janusz Tomaka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Pankracy Malicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janusz Tomaka was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Thomas Vollmar sped through FC Szombry's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janusz Tomaka. If Pankracy Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janusz Tomaka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when FC Szombry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Tarka didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Zonta in the 45th minute of play forced FC Szombry's goalkeeper Janusz Tomaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Janusz Tomaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Szombry defense, Thomas Vollmar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janusz Tomaka. The FC Szombry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janusz Tomaka should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakub Gabis to strike the kick off in the second half. Thomas Vollmar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Janusz Tomaka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thomas Vollmar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Janusz Tomaka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janusz Tomaka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Pankracy Malicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87th play minutes Thomas Vollmar shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Janusz Tomaka and just under the crossbar into goal. Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC Szombry from getting a goal against them. When Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Szombry's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Newcastle United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Szombry throughout the match.
