The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Vallik in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 6th minute, Anselmo Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keijo Jaakson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Ago Rammo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karupargi Kommionud and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Karupargi Kommionud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ago Rammo to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Chiriac took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keijo Jaakson. Keijo Jaakson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Karupargi Kommionud's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Caradaro came free, but Keijo Jaakson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Karupargi Kommionud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Karupargi Kommionud's Ago Rammo got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Karupargi Kommionud's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Keijo Jaakson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agur Aavik to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Karupargi Kommionud's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Chiriac came free, but Keijo Jaakson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karupargi Kommionud's Virgo Jaanovits got a free kick in the 71st minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. In the 72nd minute, Virgo Jaanovits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keijo Jaakson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ferdinand in the 73rd minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Karupargi Kommionud's Agur Aavik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Arvo Seitse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karupargi Kommionud's Oliver Klaasen was substituted for Agur Aavik. Karupargi Kommionud's Aabel Laik was substituted for Meelis Võsomägi. Arvo Seitse hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Karupargi Kommionud's Keijo Jaakson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Karupargi Kommionud from getting a goal against them.
