In the 14th minute of the match FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- got a corner. Granate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Bădilescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Paiva in the 20th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
