Ismael Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cees Bemmel in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hidalgo Gallegos got free with Three De Four in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Rossell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evangelista Ugarte's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. FC Maliğin Adamları's Three De Four played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidalgo Gallegos in the 45th minute of play. In the last second Three De Four throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hidalgo Gallegos in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Hidalgo Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evangelista Ugarte came free, but Ismael Rossell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luka Bartz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victor Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Three De Four having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Wilhelm Kühnhackl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maliğin Adamları and the Loja S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, FC Maliğin Adamları was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Kühnhackl to maneuver through the defense. During the 94th minute of the match Wilhelm Kühnhackl completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wilhelm Kühnhackl a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC Maliğin Adamları's Wilhelm Kühnhackl got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Pedro Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Loja S.C. fully deserved thier win.
