Celedonio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Sochacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Sochacki came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Kempski in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 26th minute of play forced Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Kempski in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zvonimir Boban. After 33rd play minutes Osvaldinho Lewandowski shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Celedonio Lastur and just under the crossbar into goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Makareus Picoulas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wariatów Kupa's Borys Zarobski was substituted for Mikolaj Sochacki. Klaas Dejonghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makareus Picoulas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Makareus Picoulas might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klaas Dejonghe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Makareus Picoulas ran back to his position shaking his head.
