He walked away shaking his head. F.C.BARLAD's Felix Anton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Arghir in the 6th minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Eugen Pataj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Anton was a little too slow when Stano Kelbel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 14th minute, Cosmin Florescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Marián Bečka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugen Pataj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Moldoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C.BARLAD made a substitution. Nae Encica replaced Edgar Arghir. After a rather tough play, FC Kukova's Štefan Stašák got a free kick in the 20th minute. Eugen Pataj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Eniceicu in the 21st minute of play. F.C.BARLAD's Felix Anton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marián Bečka in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Manole Vasilache hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, FC Kukova's Marián Bečka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Cosmin Florescu charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Felix Anton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ján Kuric. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ján Kuric to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Pataj made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Petru Moldoveanu sent off a good shot on target. F.C.BARLAD's Nae Encica got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Ján Kuric had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Anton. F.C.BARLAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ján Kuric was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kukova's zone, Narcis Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Pataj came out of the goal and Narcis Tatomir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
