Gavino Lobo took the corner. A collision led to 26 de junio getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Will Budden hit a great ball. David de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, David de Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Wennerqvist, 1-0. Donato Cutberto came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrián Espadas scored 2-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 26th minute of play. Jesus Lapurdi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Gavino Lobo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the 26 de junio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Lobo couldn't finish the play. When Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 26 de junio's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 36th minute of the match. Donato Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Budden kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Adrián Espadas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soroca F.C. and the 26 de junio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Espadas to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 26 de junio's Will Budden got a free kick in the 51st minute. Iordanis Karatzaferis lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Soroca F.C.'s Müslüm Baba was substituted for Hernan Lano. In the 54th minute, one of Soroca F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soroca F.C.. The referee gave 26 de junio a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gavino Lobo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist. 3-2. Teodoro Paul's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Paul helped the player get up and apologised. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Răzvan Necula sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Teodoro Paul with Gavino Lobo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 87 minutes into the game, Romulo Thomas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Cutberto. Romulo Thomas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Soroca F.C. played a much better game than 26 de junio and deserved their victory. The 26 de junio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
