After a rather tough play, Perros del sur's Donato Viator got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Linus Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Miguel Orlondon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlin FC. In the 5th minute Donato Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Orlondon came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo. But to his dismay, Fermin Arixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Perros del sur's attentive Wilfredo Rayman managed to snatch the ball when Jeronimo Sotil made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Gonzalo Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Orlondon made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Linus Fredriksson sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes of play, Perros del sur's Donato Viator made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Carlos Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Chesus in the 17th minute of play. Miguel Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 18th minute. Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 20th minute of play. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 27th minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sixto Aimar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Linus Fredriksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Orlondon could save by the left post. Perros del sur made a substitution. Mario Mandzukic replaced Gonzalo Chesus. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Marlin FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Iglesias in the 85th minute. Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Orlondon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard and well directed shot from Ismael Iglesias led 85 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-1. After some careless play in the Perros del sur defense, Fermin Arixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Orlondon. The Perros del sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Orlondon should have stopped the shot. If Dionisio Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marlin FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Perros del sur for a fine match.
