The 26 de junio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when David de Alcântara came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Gavino Hitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David de Alcântara scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Raymond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David de Alcântara in the 32nd minute of play. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David de Alcântara in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, David de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 de junio's attentive Teodoro Paul managed to snatch the ball when Enrico Petrini made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David de Alcântara in the 39th minute of the match. 26 de junio were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Racing Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gavino Lobo took the corner. Jesus Lapurdi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If David de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David de Alcântara in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Raymond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 played minutes 26 de junio got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Lobo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Cutberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when David de Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Raymond, making the score, 0-4. Gavino Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when David de Alcântara came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Racing Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jesus Lapurdi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as 26 de junio's David de Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Raymond. That made the score 0-6 after 80 minutes of play. When Gavino Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Gavino Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Gavino Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sven-Edvin Dalgren took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Cutberto. Donato Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The Racing Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 26 de junio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
